About me
Hello Friends, I am Dr Davia Brown Franklyn and I bring over 25 years of experience in education. My career spans local community-based organizations, public and private schools in the US, as well as international settings from Denmark to Zimbabwe to Saudi Arabia. My work consistently focuses on relationship building, continuous learning and high quality environments to support leaders development. I currently serve as the Executive Director of early childhood at Bank Street College of Education.
Central to my approach is the belief that both educators and the organizations or systems they work within are continually evolving. I emphasize the importance of reflection, learning from lived experiences, and maintaining a learner’s stance in every situation.
